CASE NO. BSB-2025-006 Returns Not Accepted
Complainant: CrazyCatLazy (Mr Jones)
Filed: December 2025
Venue: United Kingdom
Exhibit F
"17k tracks is a touch too much. Might be looking at quantity over quality on this one, good buddy."
Committee Addendum: Filed on Boxing Day from the United Kingdom, a holiday traditionally reserved for returning unwanted gifts. The Board regrets to inform the complainant that free songbooks are non-refundable, and we cannot accept returns on 17,000 songs he never purchased.
CASE NO. BSB-2025-007 341 Posts Exposed
Complainant: earlstanleycrowe
Filed: December 2025
Venue: Banjo Hangout
Exhibit G
"It's harder to jam with someone who's on their device... You can go further with those 200 or so songs and tunes than you will being able to select one of 17K songs on your device."
Committee Addendum: The complainant has authored 341 posts on an internet banjo forum since 2020, yet objects to others using devices at jams. The Board also notes the site includes a "Bluegrass" tag filter containing approximately 200 songs - the exact number recommended. The complaint appears to be self-resolving.
CASE NO. BSB-2026-008 Serial Filer • Pre-2000 Complaint
Complainant: earlstanleycrowe
Filed: December 2025
Venue: Banjo Hangout
Exhibit H
"Seems to be 90% pre-2000 country songs, not many of which were ever recorded in a bluegrass style."
Committee Addendum: This complainant (see Case No. BSB-2025-007) has now filed multiple complaints from Banjo Hangout, a forum dedicated to an instrument popularized in the 19th century. The filer objects to "pre-2000 country songs" while seeking bluegrass - a genre whose father, Bill Monroe, died in 1996. The Board awaits clarification on which post-2000 bluegrass recordings predate the genre's own origins.
