G C
He was just a lonely cowboy

But out on the lonely prairie
    D7 G
She waits for him the same

Verse 4

To drive dull cares away

Who waited for her Jack

Where the skies are always blue

For I know that I am to blame

They laid his loved one down

She breathed her sweetheart's name

To tell him when he came

Where the skies are always blue
