Traditional

Key of G · Chords: I IV V

Chorus

Hallelujah (I’m ready) I’m ready (Hallelujah)
      G D7
I can hear the voices singing soft and low
Hallelujah (I’m ready) I’m ready (Hallelujah)
           G D7 G
Hallelujah I’m ready to go
   G C G
In the darkness of night not a star was in site
     G D7
On a highway that leads down below
    G C G
But Jesus came in and saved this soul from sin
           G D7 G
Hallelujah I’m ready to go

Verse 1

        G C G
Sinners don’t wait before it’s too late

He’s a wonderful Savior you know
     G C G
Well I fell on my knees and he answered my pleas
           G D7 G
Hallelujah I’m ready to go
