Walking On The Blueridge Mountains

Key of G

Verse

Soon I’ll reach the old log cabin
In the distance up ahead
I’ll be home in the blue ridge mountains
Where I’ll rest my weary head

Chorus

Walkin on the blue ridge mountains
Walkin on walkin on
Walkin on the blue ridge mountains
Walkin to my blue ridge home

Verse

I’ve been lonely for my darlin
Lonely like those lonesome pines
Growin tall on the blue ridge mountains
Round the old home place of mine

Verse

Soon I’ll see my friends and loved ones
Some remain some are gone
To the land that’s clear and bluer
Then it is round my blue ridge home
